Simply Charmed

As you can see I have a new layout. There were just some things about the other one that was irking me. I still have some tweaking to do with colors, and title sizes, but it’s mostly done. Right now Quick Updates doesn’t show on the main page, but will show up on any other page.

I’ll be working on getting all this fixed within the next couple of days. I haven’t had a chance to respond to last post comments, but don’t worry I’ll get to you. I’ve got a couple of posts in mind that I’m going to write about. So expect to see those in the next day or so. Please let me know what you think of the new theme.

November 18th, 2008 Edit: Apparently the new layout I had put up caused problems. Nobody could comment on the site. I’m going to be looking into this issue, so please stick with me. I’ve tested this layout and it does allow for comments.

November 18th, 2008 Edit: I’m still not sure what’s causing the problem, but I’ve found a temporary fix to it. It’ll require some more tweaking, but at least the comments work now. If anyone else has problems please let me know! I also figured out what was causing the issue with the Quick Updates.

I’ve been so out of it the past few days. Working Labor Day sucked just because it was a holiday and I had to be at work. I haven’t been doing much but working, and coming home.

Nothing interesting has been going on lately. I kinda added in a new section with out announcing it. I’ve got a lot of work left to do on it, but I would appreciate comments on the articles that are currently up there. I should have a few more articles typed up in another week or two.

Sorry this is such a short post, but it’s been so boring in my life lately I’d hate to bore you with all my drivel. I should having something more interesting to say later.

Today is my second day back at work from a ten day vacation. I’ve decided that as much as I enjoy being away from here that is far too long. We had some major changes happen here (some I can’t talk about; they aren’t official yet).

My sister took some pictures at the BBQ, and I’m going to post them tonight when I get home. I’m pretty tired right now, and can’t exactly talk (don’t want to get in trouble lol).

I’ve been thinking about adding a Disney section to the site, reviewing movies, and just putting my opinion out there about Disney and what they’ve been doing. I am extremely passionate about the genre/organization (whatev), and wikipedia just gives facts, and not opinion. Let me know what you think… if I should or not.

I can’t believe it’s already June. Where did the first part of the year go. We are almost into Summer here in good ole Alabama, USA. It’s starting to get humid, and stifling, and just downright uncomfortable. Time for rising utilities… I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to tolerate the apartment with out AC.

What are your keep cool tips? Personally I like to keep ice cream in house, and take cold showers before bed.
