I’ll be gone for a little while. My mom just had a knee replacement surgery today, and when she gets out of the hospital I’ll be taking care of her. I’ll probably be back in a week or so. She’s doing well so far, but is going to be a crank the next few months or so.
Today is my second day back at work from a ten day vacation. I’ve decided that as much as I enjoy being away from here that is far too long. We had some major changes happen here (some I can’t talk about; they aren’t official yet).
My sister took some pictures at the BBQ, and I’m going to post them tonight when I get home. I’m pretty tired right now, and can’t exactly talk (don’t want to get in trouble lol).
I’ve been thinking about adding a Disney section to the site, reviewing movies, and just putting my opinion out there about Disney and what they’ve been doing. I am extremely passionate about the genre/organization (whatev), and wikipedia just gives facts, and not opinion. Let me know what you think… if I should or not.
I can’t believe it’s already June. Where did the first part of the year go. We are almost into Summer here in good ole Alabama, USA. It’s starting to get humid, and stifling, and just downright uncomfortable. Time for rising utilities… I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to tolerate the apartment with out AC.
What are your keep cool tips? Personally I like to keep ice cream in house, and take cold showers before bed.

Some random kid knocked off our storage doorknob, and now we can't get in. At least we own a sledgehammer now. Almost 2 weeks later and the apartment complex still hasn't fixed it. *Sigh*
- 07/19/08Tomorrow the water and power will be turned on at the new apartment. We haven't completely moved everything, but all the big heavy stuff is there. We should be done sometimes Thursday or Friday. We pick up the cats tomorrow night from the old apartment.
