It’s Finally Friday
Well at least for me it is. Soon I’ll be enjoying 3 luxurious days away from work. It looks like the move date of May 10th is still holding up. We might actually move this time. I really hope so because I’m tired of playing musical chairs at work.
So my plans for the weekend is this. Finish adding all the plug-ins that I’ve recently downloaded. Do some more research on this problem I’ve been having with WP. Clean the apartment so there will be room for the new furniture.
I’ve got about 20 loads of laundry to do lmao so I’m probably going to take my laptop to my mom’s and do laundry there. Only downside is she’s on dial up out there *shudders*.
So what’s the weather doing elsewhere. Here in Alabama we are going through a cold snap. I thought winter was finally over, but it’s almost May and it’s currently 59 degrees F. There’s a saying in Alabama, “If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute, it WILL change.” Hopefully we won’t have another summer like last year.
We broke some local record having 13 days in a row of temps in the triple digits. The humidity is killer around here too. I’m just glad I work nights.
Well enough of my bitching. Time to get ready for work.
Well, I hope you enjoy your three days of freedom! The worst is having days off and then having to do work around the house and laudry, but I’m sure you’ll be all done with that soon enough and make some time for fun.
Laundry is my curse as well. It’s a giant pile that is dominating my dorm room right now, and doesn’t look like its going anywhere soon. At least you are getting yours taken care of.
Three days away from work, that’s awesome! I have exams coming up so it’s hell and more hell.
